View showing engine transmission mount in the locating position. In this position you can place your engine and transmission mounts on the fixture pads and then bolt your engine and transmission to them. Position the whole unit on the fixture in the location you want, clamp the unit down, remove the engine and transmission, remove the rear engine mount from the fixture, move it to the forward mounting position and change the top pad. (as in the next picture) This will maintain the correct position and give you room for a down tube and cross member.
